Mark, the Audrey boy

Mark has "AM (2)" on the scalp, which gives him the Audrey face mold and collector name.  He has a 1997 neck date and a body tag 2009.

The 2009 body tag is unique from my other dolls because it lists a line that says “I BELONG TO __________”  that part is not filled out.

Interestingly enough, when I pulled Mark out of the box, he had a rattling object in his head!  It was something that the seller had not mentioned, but that was not something that I could live with, so within a few days he underwent surgery to remove the item.  I heated his head with a blow-dryer and cut a small hole in the top circle.  It was discovered that the rattling object was a piece of plastic that is similar to the My Twinn vinyl on the dolls.  It was removed and the the vinyl hole that I had cut was glued back in place with some Elmer's glue.

Mark with brown eyes

My guess was that Mark had had a previous owner who did an eye change on him and either mistakenly left this piece of plastic in his head, or else it was left on purpose to create a rattling "signature" effect?  Let me know if you have come across any rattling head My Twinn dolls in the comments and maybe we can figure it out.

Here is Mark before his eye replacement and hair cut, wearing the "giving a presentation about Internet issues" outfit

He was purchased by me with stunning light blue eyes, but they were getting a little foggy with pink tones, which inspired me to change his eyes to the light brown.

Though Audrey face mold looks very nice as a girl, I wanted more boy dolls in my collection to be partners to the girls, and thought he would do well with his looks as a boy doll, so he wears a brown wig that was shaped by me into the dorky cut.

The eyebrows were quite faded, especially after my handling of the eye sockets to complete the eye change.  So I added thin eyebrows using a brown colored pencil.  Using colored pencil to make the eyebrows might not be the most permanent option, as far as eyebrow modification goes, however I never found an ultra-thin brown marker though one is probably available by visiting the local craft store.  Also, when using colored pencil, it is possible to have an eraser handy, and if you make a mistake, just erase it!

Mark as a girl, he had blue eyes at first and long eyelashes

As a boy, the eyelashes that befitted him were from the shorter, lower lashes.
